Blessed Blood

Topic: self-harmpoetry

As I throw a fit, here I sit
In your world so full of ****.
One day you'll know, one day you'll see:
You will feel all you've done to me.
My death will be my best revenge-
A happy end for my bloodthirsty friends.
And now, ladies and gents, let the games begin:
I swear I'll laugh when your world falls in.
As I drink my blood I start to think:
How fitting would it be to drown in that sweet favorite drink?
I'm cold now; I no longer feel-
Just this gifted knife to my skin, the only thing that's real.
I pray for scars, and I love the drink;
Just like you, my dears, I think.
All I wanted was your love;
You knew you were the only ones.
So now I bite these cursed cuts,
And desperately sip this blessed blood.
I fell for your lies, but now no more:
The only thing I'll be falling to now is the floor.
I believed your lies, they were so worthwhile;
Now all I see is a cruel-cut smile.
For I know if this weakness of mine you see,
You'll suddenly be all about saving me
Until the next time you touch---
Goodbye my loves; I'm sorry I wasn't enough.

I'm so glad they were temporary feelings!
Such a great sense of betrayal being portrayed within this write, one can't help thinking ( & I really don't mean to cause any offence x)
that maybe some 'friends' can be done without? There is a lot to be said for 'cleaning house' from time to time x
