Crimson splatters drip drop,
sky-diving onto the paper,
crash-landing on a new life,
immortality on impact,
the poet's ink is blood--
blood of the soul,
ideas flow in life's vein;
the soul's wounds bleed.
The blood paints the poem of the heart.
A poet's blood creates art.
