cracks in the world

only ever real
at night
promises hidden
every single
shadow drifts
away like smoke
like morning
mist and two crows
dip silently
toward event
horizon seismic
rippling through
aether universal
indigestion
cracks the world.

This reminds me of when I tried meditation a while ago (and I've been working on it recently). I loved the peace nature and solitude afforded me, but I just couldn't sit still. It was as if the tranquility was too much for me. It does remind me of indigestion. |
