Have you ever stood out by the ocean with bare feet upon the sand
and wonder how you came to be, wonder how it all was planned?
Have you ever felt so tiny as if you were a grain of sand?
So small and insignificant, too much for mortal man...
And you've wondered "does it matter with all you do and feel?"
You're just a very small thing, you wonder if it's real...
But if you remember just one thing and hold it in your heart,
the beach was once a grain of sand, a mighty oceans start...
And in the mighty universe someone as small as you,
can make a difference in this world; make someone's dreams come true...
For just a gentle touch, a kind word or simple deed,
might help someone upon the sand, who stands there by the sea.

| Nicely worked comparison between small grain of sand and immense universe. Reminds me of opening lines of Blake's Auguries of Innocence. |
