The tattered parchment tell a tale
The chosen one it names
A command issued from above
Not for the heart whose tame
I prepare my soles for journey
My body to the call
To bring another into the light
Thirty seven names on my wall
Each was chosen to see my hand
As I paint for them
In shades of red and grey but dark
The canvas is thier sin
The offense devoted them
Unreleased with bribe
In the gaze of truth deciding
Of the enlightened scribe
I hold close my instrument
That shall help persuade
The conversion requisite
I will usher today
Palms crossed with silver
Heart of courage true
Relief I deliver
From the over blue
Through the oculus a sentry I stand
As he whos sought is found
I do the work from above
I prey upon the ground
Five chambers filled with heat
The burst of light shown
The chosen one compeled to kneel
His sins have returned home
His pennance flows forth tonight
Wicked no more shall he be
The spirit so yielded forth from him
In a crimson sea
My task complete I descended my perch
The chosens grace was found
So I wait for the next call
And send another round
