Terrifying silence

There is a silence than cannot speak
in my stomach of rocks.
There is a silence that will not speak
the intolerable truth of my past.
I no longer need you as my tree,
oh mother, why won’t you speak to me?
Sitting here like a rock, tall grass sweeps
over my head, the moon revealing.
For the sake of no one, why didn’t you tell me,
I see our place of gather, but no more.
All I have are questions, what were you telling me?
Or have you too, forsaken me uncle?
I inherited your books tied with umbilical cords,
stored in their proper spot, in the house that
is so much like you. But alas everything is home,
old, decrepit, and stale are the staples that hold
us together. While the silence, I can’t say for sure,
maybe one day I’m meant to understand.
I call to my Pillars three and ask, why are you
using silence to torture me? I’m given rock bread
which ties me earth bound, back to the house of living.
Then a power struggle between my aunt and me,
the seeker of truth prevails; now all is known to me.
I quiver in fear as darkness takes over me, the images
anew I must flee to my place of refuge. Upon arrival I hear
the voice of who has eluded me all these years. I take a seat
and close my eyes to let her know I’m ready to listen.

Your poetry is sad and you seem depressed or simply fed up with everything.
People can only do in our lives what we allow, so we have to say to ourselves is this crap I'm going through wit this person worth, me feeling the way I do. If you allow it.
Sometimes we just have to let go, for our own sanity.
If someone isn't adding something positive to your life or they aren't accepting of who you are.NEVER GIVE ANYONE, TOO MUCH POWER IN YOUR LIFE |
