You don't know how I'm feeling
I have yet to speak
the desire within me.
But you'd notice if you looked.

I always want to be near you.
I want to be able to hear you.
I want to be an open war.
Do I dare reach out to you?
Do you think you'd realize
how much I want and need you?
You'd notice if you looked.

I want to say 'i love you"
but I'm scared of your reply
Terrifed like a child
my mind is blank.

My camoflauged emotions
lead to silent cries.
And I just can't seem to tell you,
but you'd notice if you looked.

Confessing in words
my feelings summarized
it's all quite surreal
and I only wish he'd take one look
