The last choice

Pandora's box is opened, Chaos running loose
Try to seal my happy box, I'll hang you from a noose
Trust me, everyone adores this day of joyous martyrdom
Spread disaster everywhere, call them loudly, they will come
Don't resist, it's all good fun, you'll thank me in the end
What's the point of fixing things you know you cannot mend
Join us all, no more tears, we'll turn the blender on
We'll kill your heart with all the rest, and then the pain is gone
You see, our world may seem quite dreadful, horrid, and most fearsome
Although, compared to lover's pain, this world is no comparison
In this place, temptation rules, but we do not resist
we let ourselves have what we want, a chance we'll never miss
Now here's your choice, it's love or this, a dire risk to take
You have 3 seconds, choose one fast, or a choice you cannot make
For I will take this deathly matter from your tainted mind
If I choose, I must confess, you know what you will find
Ah, here we go, you've made a move, and this is what you said
I'll tell you now the words you spoke to fill my soul with dread
"Through my eyes, I've seen your world, a place...where sadness dwells"
"you crush your hearts but you can't hide the story that it tells"
"I've made my choice, you may have guessed, my heart stays in my chest"
"You may keep your sullen world, I'll have my heart instead"
"Sure a heart brings many pains, but those are merely tests"
"To see how strong you really are, to bring about your best"
"But hearts play tricks on weakened minds, there's more behind it's mask"
"You must uncover what's beneath and that becomes life's task"
"Once unmasked you feel a bliss that no one's lust compares"
"Two hearts combined in harmony, a life now born and shared"
This answer brought my eyes to tears, these words, they touched my soul
Again they played inside my mind, and dug theirselves a hole
I locked myself inside this world for fear of broken heart
But in this quest i never dreamed my walls would fall apart
I admit that i was wrong, these walls don't mean a thing
Temporary fixes to a problem that remains
Take the trail with lightened steps, don't follow in my tracks
You'll find that you are led astray, and there's no coming back.....
