Friendship Song Of Life

Contributed by TOMH on Thursday, 31st December 2009 @ 06:48:10 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

As we sit recalling our lives passing by.
We look in all directions as we gaze into the sky.
One thing stands out as we recall our days of near and far.
That thing is the friends we made throughout our life,s long haul.

Whether lying on a beach or studying for an exam,
Bringing in the New Year or touching of a hand,
Laughing, crying, as we discuss our family ways,
What ere our conversation, it reverts to fond memories.

And when the visit,s over and we give our parting hugs,
We know we will meet again, our song is still not done.

Lovely stuff, mate. There's little if anything more important in life than having people around who understand you and you've encapsulated that well.
