He Cried Out Loud

Contributed by Chester_England_White on Thursday, 1st August 2002 @ 08:14:57 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

When Jesus was on the cross He cried out loud
He looked out across the sinful crowed
He gazed upon the field of humanity with blood and tears too
Oh Father forgive them for they know not what they do
He called out to His Father I love them so
As He hung in this excruciating pain
He did all this for only our eternal gain
As He took His last breath He said it is finished
His Spirit left His body oh so diminished
Before this He had told of His resurrection and return
If you read Gods word you to will learn
This is not the end of the story you see
Three days later He arose for you and for me
This was the beginning and not the end
He was resurrected with new life that He did send
We to may have this new life within
Totally cleansed for all of our darkest sin
On that day the devil was defeated
With Jesus now we can be seated
Cleansed from all our sin today
If you will only bow and pray
Father in heaven I know I am a sinner
With Your mercy and grace I know I am a winner
I know Jesus Your Son died for even me
Please dear Lord forgive me of my sins is my truthful plea
Jesus please come into my heart forever to stay
Please Lord don’t let me ever go astray
I ask You today to be my Lord and Savior this I pray
In Jesus Precious and Holy name Amen and Amen
The sin that you had is now gone this moment
His righteousness is give and total atonement
What a gift you see He has been give to thee
The cost was so great for God you see
He sent His Son to die for us all
Not all will hear His eternal call
If you said this prayer you’ll not be in Satan’s fall
With Jesus Christ we have eternal life
He did not say we would not have strife
If you choose the lie you will surly die
This death you see is eternal also oh my
Please do not fallow Satan or believe his lie
With Jesus Christ we will one day meet in heaven above
No more tears, sorrow, pain or death only His love
This He sends on the wing of a pure white dove
