anguished
|
silence is golden
as some might say
but you've stolen my mind
infecting it with pain
i wait for your calls
the ones that never come
the ones you promised
with your decivious tongue
i've noticed your changes
like the turn of the seasons
frostbitten by love
burnt by treason
upon your pedestal
you look down upon me
as i play the fool
believing you love me
the silence, so loud
echoing throughout these walls
if you're looking for me
i can be found
waiting for your calls
