Hidden Emotion

I hide behind the doors of an emotion filled soul

Keeping myself from leaving and others from getting in

I hide behind the walls of a shattered, broken heart

Hoping someone would come by, and mend it while there's still time

My soul is dark and cold without you in my life

But yet i hide because i am afraid

That i might hurt you to a point of no return

My love for you is pure and it has no end

But the one thing it doesn't have is one thing it needs

My love for you is like a never ending dream

That always has a happy ending

But then i whisper in your ear we were meant to be

And you whisper it was just a dream.

I'm here till the end, i'll never leave

And only you will be able to get through my door, and mend my shattered broken heart

You will be the only one to see my hidden Emotion
