It was so strange living in blue
being forced to defend myself as though it was an easy thing to do
But you could always tell where i had been
Exposed by the cuts on my wrist
I was fighting the shadows again
buti told you the cause
You handeled the effects
You knew i was tired
So you let me rest
Now as i regain my strength
I can only think of you
Handeling the effects couldnt have been an easy thing to do.

i really enjoyed this poem it brought me back to a time when i was a cutter. i have keep clean from that lifestyle for about 2 years now and hope you can find the strength to do the same. keep up the great writing.
