Killing Time

You know that I'm down for you
Sitting on the stairway with nothing to do,
Hours without you crawl like years
As if the time suddenly took a rest,
I try to play it safe and keep it cool
Countin' down the minutes without you
But my emotions do talkin' all for myself
My tears, they're comin' out, comin' out
While I just wait on you, killing time.

I'm just waiting on you
Til you come on home to me,
Killing time without you
Trying' to keep my tears
Which will not subside
When you're not around.
I'm countin' down the minutes
With the hope that hands will
Move a little bit further
Approaching your returnin'...
Yet I'm just sitting over here
And waiting on you, killing time.

So long, so long I've been waiting
For this moment to arrive,
Imaginin' the way you'll be sitting
Right beside me and holdin' me tight.
I've been waiting on you to touch
My lips one more time
And heal my suffered heart,
That feels so untouched right now
And slows down in expection
Of you to come on home.

I'm just waiting on you
Til you come home to me,
Killing time without you
Trying' to keep my tears
Which will not subside
When you're not around.
I'm countin' down the minutes
With the hope that hands will
Move a little bit further
Approaching your returnin'...
Yet I'm just sitting over here
And waiting on you, killing time.

I just wait, wait, wait
Killing time til you come home,
I wait for you over here, boy,
On the stairway, stairway
As long as there's still maybe
Twiddle my thumbs and wait
Advancin' time, countin' the seconds.
Well when? When?

I'm just waiting on you
Til you come on home to me,
Killing time without you
Trying' to keep my tears
Which will not subside

very very well written, very emotional i can picture it in my mind.
