The Gun In My Mouth

Contributed by fallensaint on Wednesday, 23rd December 2009 @ 05:44:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The gun in my mouth
Is bitter in taste
If I pull the trigger
My life shall be erased

No more pain
Or a broken heart
It seems like death
Is a fresh new start

Each gasp for breath
Brings me pain
It's complete agony
It courses through my veins

I gasp for air
I need you here
Stop me please
Save me from the fear

It's taking hold
Breaking me apart
I tear at my flesh
And rip out my heart

I look in relief
At the bloody pieces
What's left of my heart
And my breathing ceases
