oops

Much like the apple in my stomach
amino acids eat away at my memories.
Dissolving reality into a perpetual state of
greyness, how I long for an apple.
I miss her palpable smile, of foreign fruit.
If only the brokenness would heed my call.
Instead I’m looked upon as an outcast,
on this desert isle that is myself.
None will greave while I’m am gone,
only false hope will avert their eyes.
No matter the outcome I am dead.
All I ask is that you heed my call.
A piece of dust is a beautiful thing,
consequences are apples falling.
Now let me go to my holding place.
I need to remind myself of who I am.
