Mistake

I'll rate my mistakes.
On a scale 1-5..youre in first place.
Five stars on the dot that'll never erase,
are you proud? I'm running out of things to say,
the story of you and I falling in love
is the hardest to explain.And i'm running out of
sympathy,why don't you save some for me.
While you breathe in,I breathe out.
I'm sorry I can't live my life without some kind of doubt
in every word I speak.I'm holding back everything,
I just want you to leave.I mean it's not like you love me
or anything so it wont change a thing.
Lets wash away this love,forget everything.
Am I better than this? Should I stay longer,and watch my world fall?
And all the pictures on the wall,pretending like we were happy all along.

I kind of like this. It's hard to explain why.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
