I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.
I know that you don't love me.
I know you'll just forget about me.
I should move on
But my heart won't let me.
My heart wants to be with you
But my brain says otherwise.
I can't decide.
Which should I follow.
Either way,
I'll be engulfed in sorrow.
I need to forget about you.
But I need to be with you.
Why is everything so difficult.
It doesn't help that you pretend to love me
But then when I reach out,
You run away.
You run as far as you can.
My brain says I should hate you
But my heart says otherwise...

This is never easy!
Hate never solved anything, and still doesn't as we see what it causes around us everyday.
I have found through personal experience, that if you learn to accept what you cannot change - free will for example,
and make changes to what you can control, with true conviction,
Then the rest will follow, & your heart & mind will combine to show you the way....
Good luck and best wishes
