The darkness haunts me.
Its black heavyness pushing against me
Unable to run from its clutches it grabs me
Its thick black arms crushing, taking my breath
The darkness haunts me.
The most evil of deeds hide amoung it
To scared to move, afraid of what i will find
It taunts me, reduced to a quivering wreck
The darkness haunts me.
Scared to close my eyes, afriad of what it will do
My heart racing, with sweat pouring
Please bring back the light
The darkness haunts me.
When surrounded by light its still there
Looking at me, trying to draw me in
Just sitting there waiting to torment me again
The darkness with forever haunt me.

Very well written made me shiver.
Take care.
The darkness haunts me.
When surrounded by light its still there
Looking at me, trying to draw me in
Just sitting there waiting to torment me again

Great poem!
In a way the darkness haunts us all.
But some more than others.
