Don't Look Back

There’s really nothing more to say,
You’ve thought it all anyway,
Besides, what you think don’t mean jack,
So when you do it - don’t look back.
You found there is no right or wrong,
So why did it take so long?
Wasted years – and you bought the lie,
Came crashing down, you can’t deny.
The time has come, it’s past due,
To uncover what remains of you.
Scattered fragments on the ground,
Is it possible you’ll ever be found?
You can’t finish a puzzle with pieces lost,
And what you paid was beyond the cost.
So walk away from the old contract,
And when you do it - don’t look back.
