Suckers
Night. The light is laid to sleep
And darkness dwells- oh shadows in ruins,
Dismal mist, vail screams ! and weep
For those we chose to lead to doom.
Bloodletting is the moon for splendour
Those of true belief won’t know-
That filled with evil ! Sweet surrender
Of weed Justines and queens of snow.
Killing here while thrilling there-
Lurking- chased by our brothers in mind,
Men of law- queer as we- where
Paths and streets through landscapes wind.
Living dreams of fragrant desires:
-Lustmord fought its way to main-
Gold and rum, and what one requires
To be called sucker ! And life vain.
That once was- now empty caves;
Where burned down fireplaces cool- reek
Ashen like we- nature paves
That bloodstained path with mud and leaves.
As ‘neath the suckers-morning sicker
Morning closer- rose a beast
With fangs of foulness- no tree thicker
Than teeth and tongue, prepared for feast.
One did not know pestilence
One gift of deliverance
Deliver us from evil !
Deliver us from evil ...
