What is one thing only I can understand?
I think it’s the thoughts I have in my head.
Thoughts that pound my head like a rock band
Thoughts that make me wish I was dead
The confusion is intense and hard to bare.
My thoughts spin and swirl and change on and on.
I feel as if my insanity will soon break and tear.
It this normal or just the life I was thrust upon?
Try and tell someone, I wouldn’t dare
For these thoughts are beyond compare
No one else could put it together
The storms in my head are the foulest weather
Someday it will bring my end
The time I will not bare anymore
The day God, for me, will send
To take me away from the thoughts to soar
For now though I am standing strong
Hiding the thoughts from the outside world
Never showing that anything is wrong
Meanwhile my head is being hurled

The mind yes powerful, would be great if we could just switch it off when needed, well written.
