My blood boils and coils and shifts and spins,
And still it always haunts me like a long lost friend.
I still dream of the blood, and the needles still sing;
Now I've just learned not to say anything.
These tattered wings still long to fly
This silent bird off to the sky.
How do I dream of escaping from here
When being alone is my worst fear?
I'm trapped in this world between heaven and hell,
And where I belong, only time will tell.
But for now, dear old friend, sing your best song for me again,
And I may listen to your story, and fall for your sin.
