Sui Caedere

So you decided to close that door
Keep it locked tight forever
It's not important anymore
There is nothing here worth seeing anyway
Not for you

Never could you see the beauty
A reflection in the water
So much darkness underneath
Too many scars in the way

It was all too much for you
That tainted reflection
The consuming shadows
But the tide always changes, dear
And for all that darkness-
There must be some light
But that won't matter anymore I suppose

The rest of us are here
On the other side of that door
Calling your name
But it's not enough to make you turn back
Not for you

So you will bolt that door
Hide the key within the shadows
Leave us standing here
With our unanswered calls

Karabeara,

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I however, do not personally believe anyone who commits one of the most ultimate selfish acts such as suicide finds peace on the other side. So, with that, I am more sorry to hear about the pain he has left you and yours in.

He may have closed one door but I'd bet he has opened another one that just may be worse.

You always know, I hope, I am here for you.

Sad write with a powerful emotive strength. You may no longer have your friend but you still have your talent.

Love,

Me

Hi Karoody
Sui Caedere..I feel you had a hard time because of your friend and send my condolance . Saying that I found your poem interesting, but sad..for your friend and for those left behing. I disagree with the person below me because..Who knows the mind of God and all things can be forgiven in Gods mercy.
I cannot say I really liked your poem, but understand writing helps get feelings out.
Who can understand when a person does this..NO ONE ! We cannot put ourselves in their place and really know the pain within them nor do we see their suffering or depression its impossible for us to really understand. Would we do it ? We can't say because who knows the future. A person who takes their life is a sick person probbaly no worse than any other illness. We can't rush to judgement and I'm sure God who understands all shall judge perfectly as you would ask God to have mercy on this soul as you would any other person who passed. Remember God is all just, all forgiving all mercyful and all love. Remember your friend always.
Your poem was well written.

Sinned..dennis fleury
