selfstruggles

I stared at the moon tonight
and someone stared back.
With sounds so soft,
audible only to us
as we sat down together.
Missing you.
Praying the wind fell mute the echo of my tear
dropping beneath.
Each one carries off a minute of time
as I grow lonelier yet.
Wake unto me tonight.
Let me feel your soul
as we stop time and sit as one.
This is my life as I count the moments
until we’re together.
Passing in front of me.
Moments
Alone
With you
I’m haunted by moments.

Beautifully written
and eerily poignant.
