As a child I learned to live.
As an adult I learned to die.
In between what's wrong and right you made so many promises.
I saw you fight for things that weren't right.
I washed up blood off my kitchen floor.
As a child I thought nothing of it.
As an adult I think too much of it.
My mom she worries for me at night.
She think I might be killed in that fight.
Forever I worried will I make it thru.
Now I hold my breath until my face is blue.
As a child I was scard to die.
As an adult all I look forward to is to die.
