Laying down to end this day
I remember how you made me feel
So alive and willing to do whatever
To know how it feels to be loved
To know that my life was not a waste
And as I dream I see your face
Glowing so brilliantly that I come to tears
I never thought it was possible
For me to be overwhelmed with a love like this
A love so pure and made just for me
I hold you near to feel your warmth
For without you I am a shell of ice
As daylight breaks in to my room
I am sad to find that it was all a dream
Happiness is just a malicious hoax
And i never fail at falling for it
So I start the day with my head lowered
For reality has played me a fool again
Walking down the street I see you
On the bus; in the store; everywhere
You never escape my thoughts
What a way to bring my day to night
By thinking of an evil being
And as I lay down to sleep again
I welcome a beautiful dream about your love

This is heart breaking, so much sadness sifting within the lines.
