MY TREE

The tree is up and decorated in lights aglow,
placed on it are things we know,
each year one thing is placed as new,
stand back and look at all we know,
theres my mom and dad I miss them so,
theres my first born from years ago,
there to is his sister close by,
and yes there is my youngest adopted one
then i see the ones i still hold dear in my heart
although we are miles apart,
This tree you see its all I hold dear
this brings me my Christmas cheer
So today I placed something new
it represents a friend I knew,
no longer here to share this year.
Merry Christmas to all and a blessed new year.
