the pounding of my heart beating in my chest the illusion of love and what once was where has it all gone can it ever be again i feel my soul fading into darkness with every passing day hands reaching out with nothing to hold where did it all go or was it really ever there

Heart wrenching write, again I felt this one!
Myself I love the writing you do well at it I just do not like this style, other than that good work!
Maybe stanza's? It would put a great deal more effect into an already well written and emotional verse.
