When you are harmless you become see through
People seem to pass you by without notion
Then along comes that time they need you
Suddenly it seems wheels are in motion
No longer translucent or a fog in image
Materialism creeps in along with value
You gain some self worth, well you think
All is good and all that is touched by you to
Power becomes reality almost as if in a blink
Happy, joy and pleasure all you have sought
Happiness begins to coast in life daily, weekly
Nothing is troubling nothing, naught.
Something strange, untouchable becomes awry
Values change or do they I don’t know
But all seems what was is no longer
Questions, is this my doing what did I sow
Somewhere somehow involved
Even by hook or by crook
And yet totally oblivious, I think?
Blind, though you know what it took
A partnership in what you thought was needed
Something strong drove you to want
And now reality face to face no clouds or fog
You know what you should hunt
So you start over for the precious life
Not invisible, translucent or opaque but real
Materialism where it counts and only there
Slowly I learn more on life, I again learn to feel.
