Maybe the grass will grow

Contributed by reprobate on Wednesday, 9th December 2009 @ 11:36:03 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I remember all the little things about you
When and how we met, the smiles, the moon
The way I felt so loved with you here
It's all I've got since you've been gone

I remember our silly living room dances
The chats, the hugs that came so freely
Dreams of what we wanted, for you, me, us
It's what I have since you've been gone

I remember sunny days whenever you were here
Those trips to the park, the mall, our friends
Visiting family but really waiting to get home
That's what is left since you've been gone

I remember it all, the good and the happy days
Yeah and the bad and sad moments, too
All of it, now, is what is left in my life
It's why my tears water your grave,
...since you've been gone

Hi,

Another fine write! Very sad and filled with
lasting memories. Perhaps, above other men,
you were lucky just to know her?

love is the only thing that can give one the inspiration to write so deeply from the heart, this is sad though so beautiful, tearing up here,

big big hugs n' love nessa
