Topic:
selfstruggles
|
is it not appropriate but to keep returning. . .
laboring manic backroads, oblivious to the dust,
that of which I cannot escape
seasonally unraveling
pointless
to picture-less frames, burnt edged
empty of accompaniment
celluloid offerings. . . blistering. . . lilting
in a ransom of smoke. . . smoldering into the blackest
nay, into that smokeless nothing
then, will I honor you
oh wingless & abandoned
possession
or will I dance, expressionless on the roof of sanity
where I can only chase a feeling
that solemn stymied ache. . .
ink-stained tears, mine
fall to the page
an offering. . . flooded words of forgiveness
as time, a gentle saviour
moves so slowly
crawls. . . so
as to complicate me. . .
