Here comes the rain,pouring down,
watching each drop hit the ground,
knowing when I cry,my tears wont show,
The tears will blend with the rain that flows,
the roaring thunder,that pounds in my ears,
the rains washing away those lonely tears,
a streak of lightning shooting through the sky,
Raining on my sorrow,I cant deny,
Here comes the rain again,let it pour,
as I step out,and ask for more,
Let it rain on me,let it come down,
Wash away the tears,& my frown,
Cleanse my soul,till I'm clean,
and make the grasses green,
let the rain clean all the sorrow,
So the sun can shine tomorrow!

Beautiful!! It rained here in the desert lastnight also. I layed in bed listening to it . I drifted back off to sleep. Lovely write!!
