What can I do to help your lips smile
I just hate to see you this glum
For all of the joy, laughter and love
You bring into my life
I wish to you some
What can I do for you this day, my love
Name it it's yours
Nothings too much
I'd give to you flowers
If their smell would please you
I'd plant a whole fields worth
And skip through the seasons
So you'd see them grow
and enjoy them in spring
And a big smile would grow
From these little things
If you need a touch
A hug or a hand
I'll hold all night
Til the darkness gives in
To the sun that will shine
And light our embrace
But will envy the light
Of your glowing face
Be Glad, Be Glad!
Your love fills me heart
You are my day's sunshine
You are my night's stars
If ever you wonder
What brings me to you
Why it is I circle
Around what you do
You are my Summer
Your wind gives me wings
And gravity pulls me
To the center of all things
And right in the middle
Where everything's drawn
I see only you standing
Lighting the dawn!
