the pain of the world eats at you like a splinter in the mind

Contributed by zarton on Friday, 4th December 2009 @ 05:31:38 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

the pain of the world eats at you like a splinter in the mind,a dark storm is forming, crackles of thunder and the lightning hits the water, ascending into the clouds, the midnight takes the darkness as the light enters the sea, closed eyes open them to see, blind to my fears, the truth smashes through the web of lies, lilies in the desert, shadows in the light,an earthquake in our presence,,make a hurricane in my heart, death is not the end ,love never dies, the withering flower is healed, hovering above your heart, with the starlight of a single tear, kissing the moonlight, basking in the sunshine from the moon in your heart, you scorched the sun and burned the face of mars, the dream world is paradise of multiple paradox, the movie play in your dream, the weird flashes of reality, the time line of change, the rebellion of the of the spirit awakens the mind, light up the sky in the flames of our love, the beginning is near, the end of fear,a rain drop transforms into the snow flakes of the winter mountain storm in your eyes, the pen to the paper of life,it cuts into the world like a knife, the earth screams to the sky,the sound smashes the lie,the soul alive forever must fly,the question of love in the middle of the night,do the cracks of the earth absorb your spirit, punch my hand through the wall, i wont bleed for you, floating across the meadow, the butterfly changes the world, waves of time, warp of life, rifted and jagged dimensions

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
