Smile, Frown, Laugh, and Cry
I feel them all Simultaneously
I wish for something that clarifies
My longing for the certainties
Im happy now for what I have
I'm lucky to not want at all
I'm loved more than most could be
so Why am I so melancholy?
Perhaps, perhaps I need to laugh
It could be that I am alone too oft
Perhaps, perhaps I've made me blue
It could be that I am crazy, too!
Summer's wind embraces me
Sunshine warms my head to feet
I know, I know its dark and cold
MY Summer is what I hold!
So, smile all ye faint of heart
and laugh at all your darkest thoughts
For days may be not giving you
all the things you think you're owed
but think of all the things you see
The better things that you believe
Rejoice! Rejoice! You sullen Gloom
Make Summer's Rain Wash over you
and dance MY dance of beatitude!
