All that goes on in this world,
we are blind and we can't see.
the homeless, hungry children.
and the Christmas that won't be.
Many children will get sick,
there's no shoes upon their feet.
just how many have to die,
there's just no food to eat.
No shelter for a rainy day,
or heat when nights are cold.
turned down at the shelter,
there's just no beds they're told.
Why can't we just reach out,
and take a child's hand.
and let them know that in our hearts,
we really understand.
Maybe we could help someone,
in just a little way.
if only just a little hope,
to face another day.
Why can't we dig a little deeper,
and reach into our hearts,
to us it's just a little thing,
but to them could be a start.

This is a very touching, true write.
These are the things I think about during the holiday season and just in the Winter period.
