In my life I've had the best
and in my life I've been put to the test

In my life I've learned to lose
and in my life I've learned what to choose

In my life I've found the one
and in my life I've said "I'm done"

In my life I've had many friends
and in my life friendships have seen ends

In my life my heart's been played
and in my life I have strayed

In my life I've lost everything
and in my life I've found meaning

In my life I've learned what a family is
and in my life I've joined hers and his

In my life I've learned to be strong
and in my life I've had to admit that I'm wrong

In my life I've learned to dream
and in my life I've had to scream

In my life I've wanted it all to end
and in my life I've needed a friend

In my life I have found me
and in my life I'm happy to be
