Enveloping Hatred

Contributed by xnickix7 on Sunday, 29th November 2009 @ 03:14:33 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Piercing pains inside my heart
Shooting through me like a dart
Vision blurs, eyes close
Too much pain, no one knows
No more words to leave my lips
Paper strong now easily rips
Darkness closes on my face
Weakened legs begin to pace
All the colors start to fade
Goodbye sunshine, hello shade
Memories flash all through my mind
Feelings lost that I cannot find
Anger enters, all is red
Lifeless, crying in my bed
A cut so deep, why won’t it bleed?
An empty book I cannot read
So much hurt I have to hide
A shoelace that has come untied
Where’s the brake? I want to stop
My head explodes, I hear it pop
Going mad I pull my hair
I scream out loud “This isn’t fair!”
What have I ever done so wrong?
This painful battle, why so long?
Broken glass cuts at my feet
Gushing blood, there is no seat
Weakened body begins to die
Angels falling from the sky
Nothing is left, an empty shell
To love again? I cannot tell

It's funny how you named the piece "Enveloping Hatred". And what you did what was let it all out.
I vividly felt the emotions. Great writing.

"A cut so deep, why won't it bleed"

It's weird how little a cut in the leg actually bleeds...

I cant cut in my arm because my friends are worried so they check : /
