Point Of No Return

Contributed by Alexa_Bachtel on Tuesday, 24th November 2009 @ 08:43:12 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Ain't it sad how this huge world
Suddenly can separate two hearts
That were beatin' once as one,
But it was far away and long ago.
We were lovers, now we're strangers
That pass by without raisin' the eyes
When we happen upon to meet...
Now that everything's left in the past,
And when each efforts to work it out
Are gone, I'm finally findin'

That we've reached the point of no return
And lost what has left of us,
We've got confused and chose the optimum
Just havin' said goodbye.
Night will drown in the salt sea of my tears,
From learnin' that you won't back anymore,
So I don't know how long I'll weep stormily
But there's the day comes when I finally see
That we've reached the point of no return.

I know that I'll keep waitin'
For the miracle to knock at my door
And some ship to bring you back home,
But my waitin' will be for nothin'.
Your shoes won't be at my door anymore,
So I gotta live with it, though it's hard,
Knowin' that somethin' went wrong
And ain't no chance anymore to work it out.

We've reached the point of no return
And lost what has left of us,
We've got confused and chose the optimum
Just havin' said goodbye.
Night will drown in the salt sea of my tears,
From learnin' that you won't back anymore,
So I don't know how long I'll weep stormily
But there's the day comes when I finally see
That we've reached the point of no return.

There's no returnin' back to the past
And it's impossible to stop that machine
Bringin' into action an inexorable run
Of time I hang on, tryin' to make U back.
Cos we have reached,
We have reached,
We have reached the point, point of no return...

We've reached the point of no return
And lost what has left of us,
We've got confused and chose the optimum
Just havin' said goodbye.
Night will drown in the salt sea of my tears,
From learnin' that you won't back anymore,
So I don't know how long I'll weep stormily
But there's the day comes when I finally see
That we've reached the point of no return.
