My love has been taken away
By the pain of it all
So upset, so hurt, so deceived
Betrayed
Did I see it coming ?
You’ve left me dazed
And I don't know where to turn

Here and now
Feels like I'm drowning
Can’t eat, can’t sleep
If I close my eyes – I’m tormented
I can just see the two of you together
I’m tortured - And I feel so alone

Seems to me
I'm exactly where you wanted me
Powerless
Whilst you were all powerful
With what you both knew
Kidding me along
Loving me only when he allowed

Revenge - with the cut of a knife
Straight through my heart

You have your friends to put their arms around you
To comfort you
And the only person that can comfort me – is you
But that can never be
For you are the one who held the knife
Did I deserve this?
You obviously don’t love me – despise me perhaps
What’s done is done – We can’t go back
And now I stand alone
Helpless
Drowning in a sea of questions
And the worst part is the not knowing...
