A
Candle
With a radiant
Flame illuminates the
Room. Its warm radius
Gathers guests and their
Shadows manifest. Soon,
Its blue wax melts away.
Its black wick burns out.
Now nothing remains.
Gone overnight.

Now nothing remains. --Just the memory of what was. And so quickly the flame can vanish without us ever noticing. For such a short piece, this is quite thought provoking. Great post!

I like the title and the entire passage works very well. Well done. Another well written piece.
