Sometimes it’s hard to go on,
When you feel like there’s no one.
Time takes a toll,
You have no control.
Music helps you cope,
When you feel like there’s no hope.

Wishing to take back everything said,
Images rushing through your head.
Making you analyze your every action.
There’s no way to undo your previous infraction.
Wishing he were alive again,
With all of his smiles from way back when.

It breaks your heart to think of him now.
You make a vow,
To never take someone for granted,
Thinking of how you ranted,
On and on with ire.
It’s time to aspire.

Change things while you can,
It’s time to start your battle plan.
For a battle is what awaits,
Right through those gates…
You must let go,
Return to life slow.

Live life.
Take each step in strife.
For now it’s you who holds the key.
On this you must agree,
For time will not stop for any one,
And nothing can be undone...
