Eyes so cold locked in a blank stare
Damaged, unable to repair
What could have been will never be
Alone I float in this empty sea
These waves of anguish engulf my soul
Soundlessly descend in this dark hole
These raw wounds burn from salt so cruel
To this fire I add the fuel
Unable to breathe I start to gag
I wonder dare I wave my white flag?
I can’t there’s nothing left to give
This life I do not want to live
I begin to choke while my lungs they fill
Body overcome by an incessant chill
The end is near and it I invite
Only where I go there is no light
Empty vows and eternal dark
In the distance I see the shark
I sit and wait I do not pray
The pain is soon to go away
