The fleeting fragrance of the rain
awakens thoughts from summers past.
Those days, which fraught with so much pain,
have faded from my heart at last.
Ah, such feelings crisp and clear,
they linger gently by my side.
They whisper softly in my ear
and place their image in my mind.
But look! The sky! Oh, how it weeps;
each sob of sorrow strong and loud.
Each tear it sheds it sheds for me
each mournful cry a thunderous shout.
Oh, haste the day when all is well,
when fear and anguish both subside;
a day when I can safely dwell
beneath that rainbow in the sky.

Wow this was superb, I loved the imagery
and how well it flowed. The rhyme scheme
aided in that.
