Love is like a dove
It's innocent ways
Are awe inspiring and beautiful
It never ceases to fill one's imagination
Love is also like a serpent
It comes unexpectedly without warning
It sneaks up on one who doesn't even notice
Now love can be described two ways
It can be as a friendship that never fails
But it can also be affection for a lover
To plainly describe it
Love is patient, Love is kind
It isn't puffed up, It believes all things
It doesn't keep a record of wrong
It does not wish harm on its neighbor
The two loves mentioned before
Can be easily described as a dove
Yet can also be sneaky as a serpent
Without their characteristics
Love wouldn't survive
Thus making life hard on most of our lives

Good work, I thought you described both versions of love very accurately. I especially liked this line:
'It never ceases to fill one's imagination'
That was a perfect description of love; an endless, mind-blowing thing.
