My heaven and my angel

Contributed by DevilWithAHalo on Sunday, 22nd November 2009 @ 07:36:11 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Deep in the dark she walks through the woods,
The moon glistens behind her on her chocolate brown hair.
Long eyelashes beat back and forth as the summer air whips around her face.
Full red lips pulled into a smile, bright enough to light the darkest room.
Slightly tanned skin, giving out an addictive smell of warmth and love.
Bright blue-green eyes, more perfect than the rarest diamond.
Her slender frame slides in and out of trees with elegance and grace.
This young woman, graced with charm and beauty
Is the rarest sight to see
But when you gaze upon her perfection
You will know just how special she is
For no one else could be born with such radiance
No one else better fitting the name “angel”
The greatest treasure to be held in this world
And she lies in my arms
To serve and protect her
Is my life’s mission
And that I will do
With a smile on my face
And a song in my heart
For being hers
And having her as my own
Is my heaven and she
My angel

Really beautiful and little mystical poem. That woman who you with is incredibly lucky. So keep your angel 'cos she deserves it, according to your words.
Bravo one more time.
Alexa.

Hi,

This is a stunning affirmation of love.
Devoid of all cliches that sometimes permeate
love poetry - unique in its style.

Well written!

Tommy
