Lost souls

Corruption, like daggers, inside bleeding lives
Tearing their insides, and blinding their eyes
They see not the danger in front of their face
They all bow their heads in shameful disgrace
We all look away, pretend not to see
The truth bleeds behind us; they cry to be free
Possessed by the chain of hatred and lies
a beautiful chain under clever disguise
No way to end it, to end all the shame
We all turned our backs, and now we're to blame
Can't take the guilt, a labyrinth of death
Lost in confusion, apart from the rest
Alone with the demon who ripped out their heart
Ready to strike and to tear him apart
Their minds are all weakend, worn to their end
Not one has the strength to fight or defend
Put in their place, and harshly enslaved
Into the fire, their names are engraved
Dying in order, awaiting their turn
Standing in flame, and wishing to burn
Sure the flame's hot and rising with time
The problem remains though, that no one can die
They all feel the pain the longer they stand
They can't take the heat of every demand
Memory's pain, take them all back
No need to remember this blazing attack
It hurt us enough to relive the loss
Of losing our souls in dark holocaust
That sinful distruction has cost us our lives
Giving them up for such pittiful lies
How far can it get us? No one's for sure
One day I'll save us....I'll search for the cure.
