The sun that beats on my windshield
Is the same light they see back home
Rises in the east, sets in the west
But throughout it I am alone
What is the point of life and love
If there is no one with whom I can share
Observing other's lives unfold
While all I do is stare
The adventure I dreamt,
The clean slate I desire
Lost the good with the bad
No more fuel to my fire
Rise to the occassion
That is all they really ask
Embrace the change in stations
Not such an impossible task
For to give up this adventure
Would be facing the unknown
I will stay til I have managed
To work my fingers to the bone.

Hi,
Well written!
Life's full of episodes - some temporary, some
for ever (if anything is for ever?). Yours will come.
Have faith!
