I am shadow, i am apart of you.

Topic: fantasy

Today i feel that i am my shadow.
Walking behind dragging on the ground.
Light is my weakness, with it i feel i will fade away.
Afraid of the darkness, afraid of the reflection of the self.
Small but in certain lights i am larger then the sun.

Empty and without form i trail behind the solid, always looking up.
Born on midday as the sun pierces threw the trees.
Death at night when the light slowly sets away.
I am nothing but i have definition, i am something that all of us have.
Never to be left alone, to entertain on walls dancing within the flicker of the candlelight.
Swaying with the breeze.

I try to peer to the man who gives me life, this moving obstacle of flesh.
Trying to not get stepped on, trying to raise myself from the floor.
To be more then shades of grey.
I feel no warmth, i feel no heart.
I have no voice to speak, no lips to curl.
No eyes to see
I am shadow i am apart of you.
